NexuraChat is a messenger built on Matrix, the open standard for secure chat. Your conversations are encrypted end to end, and WhatsApp, Messenger and Discord can sit beside them in one app.

An early test version: Android 8 or newer, Linux on a 64-bit PC, or any up-to-date browser on a computer. Signing up needs an invitation for now.

Installing

  1. Download the app on your Android phone and open the file.
  2. Allow installs from your browser when Android asks, for that app only.
  3. Open NexuraChat, sign in with nexurachat.com, and register with your invitation.

On Linux, install the .deb with sudo apt install ./nexurachat-linux.deb. The AppImage runs once made executable; on Ubuntu 24.04 or newer, use the .deb.
